The Vision is Everything. The Hustle is Free.
Come early. Stay late. Smile. Be firm. Engage.
Be Authentic. Be Transparent. Deliver.
We'll be out for one more racing session at the Sacramento Summer Night Lights Mack Road Campus on Thursday September 3rd from 7-9 pm. If you would like to get involved please fill out the contact form on our home page.
I'm currently scheming a way to start scaling my salvaging activities from a dozens of bikes out of my home garage to thousands of bikes through community services. After having run a retail bicycle warehouse for five years then working in the machine shop of a bicycle frame builder for another five I am confident that with the proper resources I can process about a thousand bikes in my first year.
Also on the horizon I am signed up to attend the NorCal High School Mountain Bike League's "Leaders' Summit: A Professional Development Conference for Coaches" in December. I held a USA Cycling Level II coaching license for five years, attended three of their week long summits at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, and took their "Training with Power" course. The NorCal League is just one division of National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) which is composed of 15 leagues in 14 states. My goal here is to recruit urban youth into mainstream bike racing opportunities including the High School Mountain Bike League, Sacramento Cyclocross, and the Prairie City Race Series and facilitate the continuing support they need maintain long term participation in the sport and healthy lifestyle that comes with it.
Alright, that's it for today. Until next time, pedal fast and turn left!

Dear Universe,
I could really use a new F150, a full sized 16 foot enclosed trailer, and a gas card.
Thanks!
Dino
